Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Ipswich is seeking a Cleaning and Waste Operative to join our warehouse cleaning team. You will perform general cleaning, tidying, waste disposal, and ensure equipment is clean and safe, while adhering to Health & Safety policies.

Training will be provided, and a Basic Disclosure Check may be required. Hours are 35 per week, with a 6 am to 2 pm shift pattern (4 days on / 2 days off) at £13.38 per hour, with permanent contract.

Qualifications

• General cleaning duties in a warehouse environment
• Ability to follow Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Willingness to complete Basic Disclosure Check and potential drug/alcohol screening
• No prior experience required; full training provided

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas within the warehouse including washrooms and canteens
• Use cleaning equipment, materials and products as directed
• Manage waste disposal in line with client and policy requirements
