Job summary

GXO Sherburn In Elmet is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our TJX contract team. You will deliver pallets, cages and dollies to commercial and retail locations using 18T/7.5T vehicles, with full training provided.

The role is full-time, 48 hours per week, any 5 days out of 7, with early starts between 03:00 and 07:00. An attractive package includes bonuses, leave, pension and access to GXO University.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence.
• Less than six points on licence; no DD/DR/DG/BA/CD/AC/LC/TT endorsements.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and proactive work style.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to TJX stores using handheld terminal, scan deliveries, manage COD/collections.
• Trailers preloaded by warehouse team; receive delivery details and keys from transport admin.
• Carry out daily walk-around checks and report defects to Transport team.
• Follow planned multi-drop routes, ensuring safe, timely deliveries and high customer service.
