Job summary

Highland Council in Inverness is seeking a Support Worker (Early Learning & Childcare) for 30 hours per week on a permanent basis. The post supports the Head Teacher in delivering stimulating activities for children and families in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• It is a requirement that all staff working in early years services register with SSSC.

Responsibilities

• To work as an effective member of the childcare team, supporting the Head Teacher in the delivery of stimulating activities in a safe environment that meet the needs of children and their families.
• Work is carried out in accordance with Highland Council policies, guidelines and codes of practice.
