Job summary

Renfrewshire Council is seeking an enthusiastic Early Learning Support Worker to join a team delivering early learning and childcare, including supporting lunchtimes and helping organise playrooms for groups and individuals.

The role requires undertaking the required qualifications in line with SSSC: NC in Childhood Practice at SCQF level 6 or SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF level 6, or equivalent, plus experience with children and the ability to communicate with children

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people.
• Ability to communicate with children and adults.
• Caring and responsive to young children’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursery officers in delivering early learning and childcare.
• Support lunchtimes and supervise play areas.
• Organise and assist with playrooms and activities for groups/individuals.
