Job summary

Happy Days Nurseries in Saltford is seeking qualified Early Years professionals with SENCO/SEND experience to join our nursery team. You will help deliver high-quality early education in line with the EYFS framework and work in partnership with families to support children's development.

You will observe and assess progress, build strong relationships with families and colleagues, and contribute to safeguarding, inclusion and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised Early Years qualification.
• Have SENCO/SEND experience.
• Have a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality early education and care in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and facilitate engaging learning experiences that support children's individual development.
• Observe, assess and document children's progress and achievements.

The Role

As an EarlyYears professional, you'llplay a keyrole in creatinginspiring learningexperiences, championingchildren's developmentand working inpartnership with familiesto provide thevery best startinlife.

You'll work closelywith children, families, colleagues and externalpartners to deliverhigh-quality earlyeducation and carein line withthe EYFS framework, while promoting children'swellbeing, safeguardingand inclusion.

This role alsoprovides opportunitiesto developspecialistexpertise in areassuch as SEND,safeguarding, early languagedevelopment, outdoor learning, behaviour and wellbeing, and coaching, trainingandquality improvement.
