Job summary

Happy Days Nurseries in Swindon is seeking qualified Early Years professionals to join our friendly nursery team. As an Early Years Educator, you’ll play a key role in children’s development within a supportive, child-centred environment.

You’ll work with families, colleagues and external partners to deliver high‑quality early education and care in line with the EYFS framework, while prioritising safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion, with clear opportunities for progression and development.

• Strong understanding of child development and EYFS framework.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for children.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality early education and care in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and facilitate engaging learning experiences that support children’s development.
• Observe, assess and document children’s progress and achievements.
• Collaborate with families, colleagues and external partners to support learning and wellbeing.
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times.
• Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous professional practice.

The Role

As an EarlyYears professional, you'llplay a keyrole in creatinginspiring learningexperiences, championingchildren's developmentand working inpartnership with familiesto provide thevery best startinlife.

This role alsoprovides opportunitiesto develop specialistexpertise in areassuch as SEND,safeguarding, early languagedevelopment, outdoor learning, behaviour and wellbeing, and coaching, trainingandquality improvement.
