Job Title: Early Career Teacher (Primary)
Location: Sheffield (S5)
Pay Rate: £120 – £180 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Are you an Early Career Teacher ready to bring your enthusiasm and fresh ideas into the classroom? GSL Education is working with primary schools in Sheffield that are keen to support new teachers in developing their skills, confidence, and classroom presence in real-time environments.
Job Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with curriculum expectations.
• Establish positive relationships with pupils and encourage active participation.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of individual learners.
• Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and training.
• Reflect on feedback to grow professionally throughout your ECT years.
Requirements:
• QTS or PGCE – Early Career Teachers are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Classroom experience through placements or previous roles.
• Eagerness to contribute to a school’s ethos and values.
• A proactive and reflective teaching approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
