Salary: £150 - £220 per day (depending on experience)

As a Primary ECT, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across the primary age range, with full support from experienced staff and mentors. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of your pupils.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and curiosity.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure pupil development.
• Uphold school policies, safeguarding procedures, and behaviour expectations.
• Reflect on your own practice and take part in ongoing professional development.

Job Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with ECT status.
• Previous experience as an ECT or in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
• A passion for delivering creative and engaging lessons in a primary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils.
• Willingness to learn, reflect, and grow as part of a school team.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply through GSL Education).
• Positive references from university placements or previous school experience.
