Early Career Teacher - ECT

Location: Chesterfield

Salary: £120 - £160 per day

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher (NQT) or someone in the early stages of their teaching career to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners.

You will deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the national curriculum. You'll foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, assess and monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies, and communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them updated on progress.

Responsibilities include:

1. Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans to ensure all students are engaged and learning.
2. Using a variety of teaching techniques to meet diverse needs.
3. Ensuring the classroom is a safe and welcoming environment.
4. Collaborating with support staff and building rapport with students.
5. Building relationships with staff members within the school.

Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification (PGCE).
• Be an NQT.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to process one.
• Have eligibility to work in the UK.
• Possess a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent communication skills.
