Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an EAL Teaching Assistant in Milton Keynes to support students whose first language is not English across year groups. You will help learners access the curriculum and develop language skills in a welcoming secondary school setting.

You will deliver small group and 1:1 interventions, adapt learning materials for individual needs, and monitor progress with feedback to teachers.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• A patient, supportive and adaptable approach to learners.
• Understanding of challenges faced by EAL learners is beneficial.
• Additional language skills are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities
