Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking to appoint an EAL Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Milton Keynes. You will support students whose first language is not English and help them access the curriculum.

The role involves delivering small group and 1:1 interventions, adapting resources, monitoring progress, and contributing to safeguarding and wellbeing within an inclusive classroom. If you are passionate about helping learners succeed, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, supportive and adaptable approach.
• Understanding of the challenges faced by EAL learners.
• Additional language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting student wellbeing.
