Job Opportunity

ibis Styles Birmingham NEC and Airport hotel is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help prepare tasty meals and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment, supporting our Head Chef. This casual position assists during busy periods, with a salary of up to £12.21 per hour plus benefits.

If you can prepare tasty, consistent dishes, this could be the right role for you. We're looking for someone with some cooking experience who can be a valuable addition to our kitchen team. Responsibilities include supporting the kitchen staff, managing stocks and supplies, minimizing costs, maximizing profits, and maintaining hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate would have experience working in a pub, high street restaurant, or hotel, able to follow our menu and uphold high standards. However, we are willing to train reliable, keen, and hardworking individuals.

Shifts may start as early as 6am, including midweek or weekend shifts for breakfast and dinner. The hotel is conveniently located near public transport (2-minute walk from Birmingham International train station) and offers on-site parking.

Please note that applicants must be able to work in the United Kingdom and commute to our location.
