Project Controller – BPSS Cleared | Hybrid – Stevenage

£36 per hour via Umbrella

60% on-site in Stevenage | BPSS clearance required to start

Contract until the end of the year with a likely extension

37 hours per week with approved overtime paid

ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Our client is a global leader in aerospace and space systems, supporting major satellite production programmes across Europe. As part of their continued delivery success, they are looking for aProject Controllerto manage financial performance reporting, cost control, and forecasting across a portfolio of high-value engineering projects.

THE PROJECT CONTROLLER ROLE:

• Monitor and manage project financials across satellite production work packages
• Deliver monthly KPI reporting and variance analysis to Project and Work Package Managers
• Support contract changes and milestone tracking with financial inputs and reviews
• Track costs, correct mis-bookings, and forecast resourcing needs
• Liaise with subcontractors to monitor financial milestones
• Contribute to consolidated programme financials and senior-level reporting
• Engage in regular cost reviews and contribute to process improvements across finance

PROJECT CONTROLLER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Strong experience with project accounting or financial control in project-led environments
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel literacy
• Experience using SAP
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Comfortable working with highly numerate data and cross-functional teams
• French or German speaking would be advantageous
