Job Title: Operations Analyst

Location: Watford office (Hybrid working, office-based Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and work from home Monday & Friday)

Working hours: 8.30am – 5pm

Salary: Competitive + Benefits

The Role:

As an Operations Analyst, you’ll be a key player in our developing operations team. You will drive high-quality service across the meter lifecycle through in-depth data analysis, resolution, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve operational queries for customers and internal stakeholders
• Deliver accurate and efficient back-office processes throughout the contract-to-cash lifecycle
• Validate monthly industry invoices and minimise unnecessary charges
• Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party providers
• Understand and analyse industry-standard data flows and IX communications
• Collaborate across teams to enhance customer experience and support portfolio growth
• Identify and implement improvements to reduce operational costs
• Maintain high-accuracy spreadsheets and reports
• Deliver ad-hoc projects and performance analysis
• Continuously seek and implement value-adding opportunities

The ideal person will have:

• Experience within the gas or energy industry (desirable)
• Strong analytical skills with proven experience in large data set analysis
• High proficiency in Excel and data handling
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong numeric ability
• Clear and confident communicator
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Proven track record in problem-solving and query resolution
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
