API is seeking a seasoned professional to join our company as an Account Director.

Remote in London, UK
Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, actively managing existing relationships to maximize market share and revenue. Collaborate with the Research & Sourcing team to ensure seamless sourcing and destination management.
- Source & Contract Management: Oversee destination sourcing, initiate RFP processes, negotiate hotel contracts, and monitor market conditions to secure the best rates and terms. Conduct risk assessments and maintain strong hotel relationships.
- Site Inspections & Negotiations: Conduct hotel inspections domestically and internationally. Lead negotiations for contracts and renewals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Account Operations: Manage day-to-day account activities, including crew feedback, hotel system updates, and CRM data management. Ensure all client deliverables are met and provide strategic recommendations.
- Team Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with sales and operations teams, lead client communications, and ensure internal teams are informed about client performance and needs.
Requirements:
- At least 7+ years of experience in the travel industry, with a focus on hotel management.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Additional Details:
- Salary range: GBP 50,000 - 55,000 annually.
- Travel required: Up to 25%.
- Work environment: Remote, with occasional international travel.
