Epredia's Digital Pathology sales team is growing!
We are searching for an experienced Account Executive to cover UK geographies, creating awareness for our new and exciting offering within the Digital Pathology space.
This is a hunter role and your objective will be to grow sales, gain new customers, support customers in the field and create awareness for our products. This is a great opportunity which could lead to future leadership roles within our Digital Pathology unit.
Position Overview:
- Conduct daily in person visits to customers in order to present Epredia's Digital Pathology solutions.
- Present our Software solutions (IMS, AI Diagnostics or Research platforms) during in person or remote sessions to potential customers.
- Make cold calls daily/weekly in order to generate new leads or opportunities.
- Develop, maintain, and demonstrate a high standard of product and Digital Pathology workflow knowledge becoming a trusted partner for the community of Anatomic-Pathologists.
- Perform necessary admin, tracking visits and activities per customer in our CRM tool at least on a weekly basis.
Who you are:- Bachelor's degree (or local equivalent) with a focus on Biology/Biotechnology/Bioengineering/Life Science preferred.
- Fluency in English (both written and oral) is mandatory.
- Minimum, 5+ working in Anatomic-Pathology diagnostics or research laboratories or 5+ years of prior experience in sales in other In Vitro Diagnostics markets.
- Self-motivating, solutions and results-oriented, leadership attitude.
- Ability to establish positive relations with both the customers' community and colleagues to work harmonically in the DP EMEA team.
UK Digital Pathology Key Account Executive Job Profile:
- Sales responsibility to the defined UK territories.
- Promote Digital Pathology solutions using the full product portfolio, negotiate contracts and close sales in order to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Execute demo of Digital Pathology Workflow Solutions, Artificial Intelligence tools, and other SW solutions in Epredia's portfolio.
- Work with Application Specialist and IT Specialist to define the best strategy to close profitable deals.
- Support the customers purchasing route, engage with all relevant stakeholders in contract negotiations, business case development and designed pricing options.
- Manage complex deals and/or tenders interacting with key stakeholders at any level.
- Local Tender management- supporting the Tender management team with local requirements and customer touchpoints.
- Execute the business strategy through the sales process to meet or exceed defined sales goals.
- Establish relationships with customers at all levels from the front line to the decision makers to understand priorities and propose solutions based on uncovering customer's present and future needs.
- Utilize SalesForce.com (SFDC) (CRM) to report, build the opportunity pipeline, request demo instruments, analyze and plan by documenting sales activity, set forecasts, enhancing customer interaction and effective use of time.
- Ensure all reporting is completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.
- Create develop and maintain profitable business relationships with key accounts.
- Develop account plans to maximize business and ensure long term growth.
- Develop a high level of territory knowledge, identifying competitors, their product offering and accounts, and enabling existing and new customers account growth and development.
- Develop and maintain a structured calling plan to make sufficient prospecting calls each week on existing and new prospects to ensure that the prospect funnel is of sufficient value to meet the monthly sales target.
- Compile and submit accurate prospect and forecast data in a timely manner on a monthly basis. Monitor performance and devise corrective action plans with Country Manager where necessary.
- Promptly manage, accurately record and refer where applicable, customers' complaints through their entire cycle as required.
- Establish an effective network with internal stakeholders to support your business and maximize result.
- Represent Epredia in marketing events and conferences when required.
- Collaborate with Marketing for the organization of local events, and for supporting National or International events.
Qualifications/Skills:- Excellent knowledge of Digital Pathology or Anatomic Pathology in the UK market and workflow.
- Proven successful Sales experience in Digital Pathology or Anatomic Pathology markets, preferably a minimum of 10 years commercial sales experience, 5 years of which within digital pathology and or diagnostics software market.
- Technical Qualification, Master Degree or local equivalent, ideally a scientific qualification.
- Good hands on knowledge and expertise of the company product range, high level understanding of the applications of these products in a diagnostic or research environment and knowledge of diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to provide excellent customer training and satisfaction.
- Ability to efficient plan, prioritize and coordinate activities to ensure maximum benefit to sales and business development.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, create and maintain an effective network of customers.
- Financial acumen: forecasting, providing quotations, responding to tenders and managing priorities to meet revenue targets.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, presentation and negotiating skills.
- Strong analytical and self-monitoring skills, able to define business priorities.
- Experience of accurate and timely recording data in a CRM on a daily basis.
- Excellent written and oral local and English language.
- Clean Driving License for own territory.
- Ability to travel 80% within the UK / Ireland, occasional European travel.
