We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our Patient Recruitment and Enablement Design Team.
The design team is responsible for creating engaging materials that resonate with clinical trial participants. Our designs are based on detailed patient insights and therapy area knowledge, personalising each trial brand to meet the specific requirements of the study and the patients involved. The team works with members of the creative and studio team, as well as other stakeholders, to produce high-impact designs and layouts for patient and site materials that attract and retain participants in new clinical trials.
Requirements
- Support creation of high-impact designs and branding to engage, attract, and retain based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
- Develop or acquire images used in various creative projects, including advertisements, patient materials, printed materials, digital materials, and corporate and brand identity.
- Collaborate with other designers, PRLs, editors, production teams, printers, and writers to develop the final deliverables.
- Deliver projects within budgeted hours and according to deadlines.
- Work with studio managers and senior creatives to review final layouts and ensure files are ready for production.
- Check all proof stages from initial layouts to colour proofs.
- Plan and coordinate workload with the studio team to meet deadlines.
- Educate team members on studio procedures, timelines, and briefing requirements as needed.
- Use innovative methods to redefine designs, considering cost, time, and client constraints.
- Ensure files, layouts, and projects are filed properly.
- Assist in quality control, ensuring layouts and print items are accurate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a field related to art or graphic design, or equivalent experience demonstrated through portfolio.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Graphic Design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Proficiency with Apple Mac.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Digital experience is an advantage, especially for banners and web pages.
- Strong layout skills and knowledge of design principles.
- Knowledge of print and production procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong design development skills, along with communication, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks effectively.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Budget awareness and ability to estimate project hours accurately.
