Job description

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist with expertise in subcontract precision engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace? Do you want to work for a prestigious employer with opportunities for career development? Are you interested in working in a state-of-the-art facility dealing with high-end engineering?

If so, please get in touch. Due to growth, we have multiple vacancies for CNC Turners. We’re offering a very competitive rate of pay with overtime available at premium rates.

Responsibilities:

1. Edit programs, set up, and operate CNC Lathes using Mazatrol or Fanuc controls.
2. Work with a range of materials including exotic materials, nickel, super alloys, stainless steel, brass, duplex, and aluminium.
3. Use various measuring equipment and have knowledge of inspection procedures to undertake self-inspection.
4. Collaborate with the machine shop team and interface with production support departments including production control, engineering, and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Experience programming, editing, and setting CNC Lathes.
• Experience with FANUC or Mazatrol controls.
• Experience working from engineering drawings.
• Ideally apprentice-trained in machining or a mechanical discipline.
• Some experience within aerospace or subcontract precision engineering dealing with manufacturing components from exotic materials.
