DUTIES
- Administration of the Production Department on a day-to-day basis and informing the Production Superintendent of all developments.
- Ensuring that all staff, including contractors, have adequate information to carry out tasks safely and efficiently, in compliance with control measures and site safety precautions.
- Supervision of the production team, including CRO, with the ability to stand in as CRO if required.
- Reporting incidents and non-conformities.
- Ensuring the safety, health, and welfare of all production personnel are maintained.
- Acting as Area Authority (Production) for the electronic permit to work system.
- Managing and controlling isolation/de-isolation certificates and complying with company isolation policy.
- Monitoring and controlling mechanical and electrical long-term isolations.
- Controlling key lockout box system; logs must be kept up to date.
- Supporting the resourcing and development of production personnel.
- Supporting and ensuring production personnel reach required competency standards.
- Ensuring commitment to the Technical and Operational Integrity Standards for all topside works completed by production personnel.
- Contributing to the creation and maintenance of operational budgets and providing monthly forecasts.
- Liaising with onshore support teams and other departments, keeping them informed of activities that may affect them.
- Providing clear and concise communication of priorities through team meetings, handovers, and performance updates.
- Performing tasks safely and efficiently, ensuring all personnel, including service engineers, adhere to safety standards.
- Deputising for the Production Superintendent when required.
- Participating as a member of the emergency response team as directed.
- Ensuring proper verbal and written handovers during shift changes and at the end of trips.
- Maintaining knowledge of Maintenance Management System (MMS) and managing Maximo inputs regularly.
- Raising Material Requisitions for spare equipment and confirming correct delivery.
Essential Qualifications:
- Combined Offshore Survival, Fire Fighting, and HUET Certificate A; G; H
- MIST / IMIST A; G; H
- Oil & Gas UK Offshore Medical Certificate A; G; H
- Oil & Gas UK Certificate of Fitness to Participate in Emergency Response Team Duties H
- Approved Awarding Body Certificate in Chemical Engineering/Process Operations A; G; H
