Your Career

As a Portfolio Manager at MHR, you’ll take on a pivotal leadership role, combining hands-on project delivery with strategic oversight and team development. You’ll manage high-profile HR and Payroll systems projects while supporting the growth of our Project Managers through mentoring, coaching, and quality assurance. This role offers the opportunity to influence project delivery, contribute to commercial success, and champion best practices across the business. You’ll also lead projects during times of increased demand or absence, ensuring consistent excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Team

Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you’ll be a senior figure within a high-performing, collaborative team. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Sales, and the PMO to ensure efficient resource allocation, delivery standards, and strong commercial alignment. You’ll review team performance against KPIs, support pre-sales activities by advising on contracts, and uphold project governance. Your proactive engagement and line management will ensure high team utilization and standards of delivery.

Your Impact

Your influence will extend across the entire project portfolio, shaping customer experience, supporting revenue growth, and driving operational excellence. By embedding MHR’s project methodology, managing risks early, and identifying commercial opportunities, you’ll drive successful outcomes for clients and the business. Your mentorship and focus on high standards will help build a capable team, supporting key business objectives and reinforcing MHR’s reputation as a trusted HR and Payroll solutions provider.
