Your company

Hays Technology is recruiting an Application Portfolio Manager on a permanent basis to join an expanding public sector organization. This role can be worked remotely and requires leading a team of 6 whilst reporting to the Head of Application and Development.

Your new role

In this role, you will lead a team of technical specialists working on business-critical applications to maintain and improve data quality and integrity. You will develop and lead an effective development team, oversee technical processes and application development, and manage daily priorities for the team. You will analyze data to improve team efficiency, develop reporting mechanisms, and maintain documentation, processes, and work instructions during a period of change and transformation.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in Application Portfolio Management
• Experience leading a technical team, including developers
• Experience with SharePoint/Azure/Power BI and other Microsoft technologies (ideal)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing system processes

What you'll get in return
