Description

As an SEO/ASO Manager at Sky Showtime, you'll lead the strategy for organic growth across both our website and app platforms. You'll be responsible for optimising our SEO and ASO efforts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive traffic, increase app visibility, and ensure our digital assets are performing at their best. We're looking for someone with a proven track record in SEO and ASO, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about using data to shape successful strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own SEO & ASO Strategy: Lead SEO and ASO strategies to drive organic growth and increase visibility across web and app platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with eCommerce, Product, and Marketing teams to align SEO, ASO, and broader subscriber acquisition strategies.
  • Optimise App Store Listings: Apply ASO best practices to enhance app store visibility and optimise metadata, keywords, and in-app events.
  • Content Optimisation: Partner with content teams to optimise workflows and outputs, ensuring content maximises SEO impact and engagement.
  • Analyse & Report Performance: Measure content performance and SEO/ASO results, delivering actionable insights and reports to key stakeholders.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Continuously monitor SEO and ASO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Conduct Audits & Identify Opportunities: Perform SEO and ASO audits to identify optimisation opportunities, ensuring the brand and products appear in the right places.
  • Technical SEO Best Practices: Define requirements, including hreflang tags, canonical links, and optimised site architecture to support organic search performance.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven SEO/ASO Expertise: Solid experience in SEO and ASO, with a demonstrated ability to drive organic growth across web and app platforms.
  • SEO Knowledge: Strong expertise in on-page optimisation, keyword research, content optimisation, and technical SEO (e.g., hreflang, canonicals, sitemaps).
  • ASO Experience: Hands-on experience optimising app listings, metadata, and in-app events to improve visibility and user engagement.
  • Technical SEO Knowledge: Practical experience with technical SEO, including site architecture, hreflang tags, and optimising code for search performance.
  • Analytics Proficiency: Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, Adobe Analytics, and app store consoles to monitor and report on performance.
  • Streaming Platform Experience: Experience in the streaming industry is a plus, particularly with SEO/ASO for video-on-demand or similar platforms.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Global SEO/ASO: Experience working across different markets and understanding regional SEO/ASO nuances and localisation strategies.
  • Experience within a CMS - How meta data can be changed across the CMS to promote current promotions/offers and within BAU periods.
