Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Support and facilitate individual therapeutic care plans and interventions for adults with eating disorders, in collaboration with the team, including the Consultant and Managers.
  2. Assist patients in a hospital clinic setting and at their homes, promoting collaborative and therapeutic activities.
  3. Provide person-centred support to aid recovery goals, including assistance with practical daily living tasks and social inclusion activities.
  4. Support personalised care planning within a multi-professional team, working closely with service users and their carers, and ensuring care plans are updated as needs change.
  5. Demonstrate risk awareness in assessment and ongoing risk management, practicing safely according to individual needs and risk management plans.
  6. Work alongside qualified staff to anticipate individual needs, communicate effectively, and respond rapidly to crises.
  7. Physically capable of fulfilling the role, including undertaking a minimum of 4 visits per shift, accessing high-rise buildings, and responding to emergencies.
