The Role

As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the delivery of the strategy and technical design aligned to architectural roadmaps across selected key domains for Group Architecture. This role will support the Full Stack Architect to deliver large-scale programs of work across multiple technology domain architecture landscapes and will support the delivery of End2End architecture projects.

Your responsibilities include:

• Contributing to the development of major technology strategies for the group, bringing specific technical competencies and knowledge, ensuring these are carefully reviewed through governing bodies.
• Informing executive committees and business leaders and underpinning major program design governance.
• Defining, influencing, and ensuring adherence to the strategic design principles and governance framework.
• Providing coaching and support to other members of the function to improve and extend the Architecture capability in line with the Architecture Target Operating Model.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Strong technical design and enterprise-wide architecture understanding and skills.
• Hands-on experience in delivering End2End designs and cost-effective, innovative, and maintainable enterprise application solutions.
• In-depth and current knowledge of one or more common application technology stacks (e.g., Microsoft .NET application technology stack).
• Ability to plan and think strategically about how technology evolves and fits into the overall strategy.
• Capability to develop presentations for executive and senior-level committees, along with strong influencing and communication skills.
