Job Title: Sr Solution Architect (Category Management)

Overview
Blue Yonder is seeking a Solution Architect to join our Delivery Services team, where your focus is to ensure customers realize value from their Blue Yonder Category Management solutions across the US and Canada.
In this role, you will design best-in-class solutions using a suite of products, such as Strategic Assortment, Planogram Generator, and Micro/Macro Planning, as well as being on the leading edge with our latest product innovations.
You will be the functional liaison across stakeholders, including key customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution.
What You'll Do
- Drive the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Retail Category Management software solutions for customers, utilizing industry best practices and process methodologies.
- Apply domain knowledge to fully understand and identify how the Blue Yonder solutions can be configured and delivered to best meet customer requirements/business processes.
- Lead solution design to ensure clear construct and validation tasks and timeline.
- Conduct and/or guide system integration, user acceptance testing, and deployment phases of the project to ensure a seamless transition to our steady state associates.
- Sustain the balance between project scope, timeline, and requirements to ensure successful time to value and customer satisfaction.
- Assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and scope, and evaluate integration complexity, architecture constraints, and product roadmaps.
- Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects.
- Communicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer-specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 6-10 years of demonstrable experience delivering Category Management solutions end-to-end in retail and manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrable experience with the Blue Yonder Planning suite of solutions, including Clustering, Assortment, Micro, and Macro planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field is strongly preferred.
- Experience conducting design sessions, interpreting business requirements, mapping to Retail Solution functionalities, performing system integration, and assisting with user acceptance testing and issue resolution.
- Experience implementing solutions leveraging Cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint for managing professional documents and communications.
