Job description

Sustainable Talent is partnering with a global leader in the clinical diagnostics, environmental, food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics testing, as well as in agro-sciences CRO (Contract Research Organization) services, to expand their team.

This position is based in Lancaster, PA, and is a Temp to Hire role. The pay rate is between $18-$20/hr, depending on experience.

The schedule for this role is: M-F, 12 p- 8 p, with slight flexibility (10 a-6 p).

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for pre-analytical processes within the laboratory specimen lifecycle: collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking, and archiving.
2. Interface with clients to resolve specimen issues.
3. Recommend changes in services, processes, and policies to improve pre-analytical efficiencies.
4. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to resolve client complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
5. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
6. Perform duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies.
7. Assist the department with routine operations as needed.
8. Support the company's philosophy, leadership values, and ethics.
9. Meet quality policy and objectives by adhering to good workmanship, standard operational procedures, training, good documentation practices, and accurate recordkeeping.

Minimum Educational Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory testing environment is preferred, especially for those new to this field.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
