Science Technician – ASAP Start – Good Ofsted Secondary School

Role Title: Science Technician

Daily Rate: £95 to £110 per day

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Long-term

A Good-rated Warrington secondary school is seeking a Science Technician to join their science department immediately. You will play a key role in supporting practical science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring that all laboratory equipment is prepared, maintained, and safely stored.

This long-term role is available due to staff resignation or mid-year departures, and the school is looking for a reliable and organised individual who can maintain high standards in the science labs.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in a science-related subject (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Physics) or relevant lab experience
• Experience handling laboratory equipment and preparing practical experiments
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Willingness to complete onboarding and start as soon as possible
