THE COMPANY: An independent, privately owned manufacturer specialising in laboratory consumables used by universities, biotech, and pharmaceutical organisations. They seek a motivated, credible sales professional with scientific experience to manage and grow their established sales territory. They offer full training and have a history of employee development.
THE ROLE: As Account Manager, you will manage relationships with scientific and procurement contacts, primarily lab managers, technicians, and researchers. This is an account management role with some new business within existing accounts. Approximately 70% of your time will be spent managing accounts in the academia sector, with the remaining 30% working with biotech, commercial labs, and pharmaceutical companies. About 70-80% of your week will be customer-facing.
