THE COMPANY: An independent, privately owned manufacturer specialising in the provision of a range of consumables used within laboratories, serving universities, biotech, and pharmaceutical organisations. They are seeking to recruit a motivated, credible sales professional with scientific experience to manage and grow their sales territory. They offer a great culture, full training, and a track record of employee development.
THE ROLE: As Account Manager, the successful candidate will manage relationships with scientific and purchasing contacts, including lab managers, technicians, and researchers. This position involves account management with some new business development within existing accounts. About 70% of your time will be spent managing accounts in the Academia sector, with the remaining time working with Biotech companies, Commercial Labs, and Pharmaceutical businesses. Approximately 70-80% of your working week will be customer-facing.
