Job description

Job Title: Corporate Receptionist - Ipswich (Temporary, Immediate Start)

Location: Ipswich

Hours of Work: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm

Hourly Pay Rate: £16.92p/h via Umbrella

A world-leading service provider operating on an international scale is seeking an experienced Corporate Receptionist based in Ipswich, working at a large corporate office site. The ideal candidate should be highly client-facing, have good experience in a front-of-house environment, and preferably come from a facilities background.

Key Responsibilities include:
  1. Welcoming all staff and visitors, acting as a host to foster excellent relationships with customers (including making refreshments as required).
  2. Arranging business lunches, conference room bookings, and conference calls.
  3. Maintaining the front of house area and conducting regular checks of visitor washrooms.
  4. Managing all incoming and outgoing post, parcels, and couriers.
  5. Welcoming delivery drivers and couriers.
  6. Signing for parcels and placing them in the post room for recipients to collect, keeping records.
  7. Keeping telephone listings up to date and liaising daily with the Service Centre to ensure contact lists are current for incoming calls.
  8. Answering internal calls only.
  9. Performing administrative duties for the Service Centre and Finance Teams, or other departments as requested.
  10. Ensuring all Front of House literature is current and tidy.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Customer service and front-of-house experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (face-to-face, telephone, and written).
  • Well-presented with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized individual.
