Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work that helps build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolutions

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
