As part of the Leckford Estate team, you will provide effective Mechanical and Electrical engineering support to farming and food processing operations to enable smooth operational delivery and minimal down time. You will need to be responsive and effective at dealing with maintenance requests, reactive and urgent maintenance issues. You will need to effectively manage your time as well to carry out planned preventative maintenance as assigned schedules.
The Leckford Estate was purchased by John Spedan Lewis, the founder of the John Lewis Partnership, in 1929. The estate is 2,800 acres in size and is split down the middle by the River Test, famous as the home of fly-fishing.
The estate is organized around four business units, supported by the estate office team:
Salary: £32,900 - £52,800.
Contract type: Fixed Term contract (Secondment) until December 2025.
