Salary: £24,500-£50,000 (Depending on experience)

What is the role?

An opportunity has arisen in our Leicester office within our busy mixed-use sector team. The role can be filled by someone who is an Architect or Architectural Technologist/Technician.

What does the role entail?

The role is ideally suited to a person who enjoys autonomy and has strong experience in the core skills required to:

  1. Manage and potentially lead multiple projects at different stages of development and construction.
  2. Communicate with clients during project development through the feasibility stage.
  3. Prepare and submit planning applications.
  4. Possess good technical knowledge of building regulations to address site queries and produce details.
  5. Understand production information requirements for the Design & Build procurement process.
  6. Visit sites for Design Team Meetings, snagging, and client/contractor meetings.
Who are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  1. Experience leading projects in the commercial sector and familiarity with the fast-paced construction environment.
  2. A proven track record of accountability and meeting deadlines.
  3. Experience working as part of a team.
  4. An assertive nature and willingness to assist others.
  5. Strong understanding of construction and technical detailing to produce clear and structured drawings.
  6. Proficiency in Revit, with a good understanding of the software, and experience delivering buildings using it.

  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently, while supporting team members when needed.
  • Openness to constructive feedback for personal development.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and act on briefs effectively.
