RHI Magnesita is seeking a Planning & Logistics Professional in Tlalnepantla, MX.
The Specialist, SAP Master Data & Logistics, is responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production planning. The role involves maintaining and developing production schedules to meet customer orders and inventory needs, managing master data accuracy, and performing data inputs in SAP.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promoting a safety culture within the team by setting a positive example and fostering safe practices.
- Developing and maintaining production schedules aligned with customer demands and inventory targets.
- Collaborating with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Production teams to optimize production efficiency and meet customer requirements.
- Understanding planning processes to identify bottlenecks and improve schedule efficiency.
- Managing inventory levels to meet customer needs while maintaining planned stock levels.
- Generating and analyzing production and inventory reports regularly.
- Executing master data updates in SAP, ensuring process integrity from start to finish.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to gather requirements and ensure data consistency.
- Validating data, conducting audits, and implementing quality checks.
- Driving KPIs related to SAP master data health and supporting continuous improvement projects.
- Creating documentation and training materials for processes and system updates.
- Managing change workflows and configurations for assigned locations or profit centers.
- Supporting troubleshooting of process and technical issues with business owners, IT, and data stewards.
- Supporting tools, resources, and processes to maintain accurate master data organization-wide.
- Performing additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
About you
You should have:
- Experience in industrial manufacturing with direct data management in ERP systems, including material numbers, BOMs, and routings.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4Hana, ECC, BMAX, and related tools.
- Strong knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.
- Excellent analytical skills to understand data relationships and prevent errors.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
