Job Description

Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises in a busy shopping centre. Responsible for day-to-day cleaning and housekeeping. Support the daily operations of the Centre.

Ensure high cleaning standards to deliver a clean and safe environment for visitors. Manage recycling and waste effectively. Maintain welfare facilities in good condition. Collaborate with colleagues for smooth operations.

Perform cleaning of car parks using mechanical sweepers and manual brushing. Conduct daily inspections of site streets, car parks, service roads, and public access areas. Carry out Health & Safety checks as directed by the Facilities and Centre Managers. Communicate safety practices and regulations.

Ensure security by preventing unauthorized access, investigating disturbances, and monitoring CCTV footage. Handle incidents, accidents, and irregularities, including reporting and attending court if necessary. Respond to emergency situations, liaising with emergency services, and directing traffic.

Verify contractor permits before work commencement. Perform reception duties, answer calls, log visitors, and manage fire alarm testing. Address spillages and litter within the mall. Follow health, safety, and security legislation.

Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
