Are you an aspiring Network Engineer with around 1 year of experience, CCNA-level knowledge, and the drive to break into a high-performance technical environment? We’re hiring a Network Support Engineer to join a world-class Network Operations team at a leading high-frequency trading firm in Central London.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the Network Operations team, you’ll work closely with the Network Engineers and other infrastructure teams, helping to monitor and support a low-latency global network.

You will:

• Monitor the health of the network and security infrastructure
• React to alerts, troubleshoot Level 1 support issues
• Investigate hardware/software faults and liaise with vendors (Cisco, Arista, Fortinet, etc.)
• Support WAN and connectivity troubleshooting
• Perform regular network audits and compliance checks
• Get hands-on with firewalls, switching, and enterprise technologies

Technology Environment

You’ll be exposed to:

• Switching & Routing (basic config & support)
• Firewalls: Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, F5
• Vendors: Cisco, Arista, and more
• Monitoring & analysis tools in a high-performance, always-on environment

What We’re Looking For

• Around 1 year of experience in a support or networking role
• Currently studying for or holding CCNA / Network+ or relevant university degree
• Strong interest in networking and solving real technical challenges
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a structured mindset
• Organised, proactive, and eager to learn — automation experience not needed, just the right attitude
• A genuine passion for networks and infrastructure
