A well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is seeking an HGV Technician for a full-time, permanent role. The position involves working on repairs, servicing, and diagnostics within a supportive team environment. Qualifications

  • Detailed knowledge of Truck & Trailer Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out repairs highlighted on the initial inspection.
  • General servicing and MOT preparation.
  • Updating all required paperwork/databases.

Depot Location: Teesport

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £41,000 to £45,000 plus per annum

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a straight day shift.

Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake the following:

  1. Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
  2. General Servicing and MOT preparation
  3. Fault finding & diagnostics
  4. Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV Technician will have the following attributes:

  • Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship
  • Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
  • A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage but isn't essential
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance, and repair
