We are looking to recruit an outstanding and highly committed full-time permanent Radiology Scheduler to join our Admin & Clerical team. The candidate must be able to work across different sites within a busy team and use their own initiative.

This is a fast-paced department requiring a proactive individual. The job involves booking appointments for all modalities and resolving face-to-face or telephone patient queries. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential. Flexibility, confidentiality awareness, and workload management to meet targets are also required.

Computer literacy is essential for inputting and extracting information from the Patient Administrative System, Radiology Information System, and other systems.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide an effective booking service for patients requiring radiology examinations, rotating across imaging modalities.
  • Support trust-wide clinics within the team and modality.
  • Maintain knowledge of all clinic protocols and standards for each clinic/specialty.
  • Register new patients, handle GP and patient queries, and make appointments across directorates.
