An established industry player is seeking a proactive HR Advisor/Manager to lead HR initiatives during a transformative period. SF Recruitment have exclusively partnered with a growing organisation that is going through a period of change. They are looking for an experience HR Advisor/ HR Manager to work in stand alone capacity to develop inductions, recruitment and be a trusted advisor to the wider business. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring the organisation remains legally compliant and operationally efficient.
Salary £40,000 - £45000 (dependant on experience)
Hours 39 per week (hybrid working available)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert HR guidance to managers and employees on a range of HR matters, including recruitment, induction, job evaluation, and employee relations.
Develop and coordinate an effective recruitment programme to attract top talent in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Support the onboarding and induction process to ensure a smooth integration for new employees.
Ensure ongoing compliance with employment laws and regulations in collaboration with the Operations Department.
Monitor and manage employee performance, including attendance, sickness absence, and disciplinary procedures.
Oversee the implementation of the company's performance appraisal process and any resulting actions.
Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement and wellbeing strategies.
Generate HR reports and analytics for senior leadership to support decision-making.
Ensure the consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the business.
Provide guidance on HR systems and processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Support the identification of training needs and the implementation of training and development plans.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar HR advisory role.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Experience in HR reporting and data analysis.
CIPD qualification (or willingness to obtain) is desirable.
