We are looking for two experienced, proactive, knowledgeable, and committed HR professionals with experience working on complex employee relations cases, to join our Employee Relations Team supporting our Corporate and Estates & Facilities Directorates.

Ideal candidates will have significant experience managing a varied and demanding caseload, including conduct and dignity at work investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearings, performance and absence management, change management, and providing frontline employee advice to line managers and senior leaders within Corporate Services and Estates & Facilities. You should be adept at managing your workload, meeting deadlines, and advising on risk mitigation using up-to-date HR practices, case law, and legislation.
There are two vacancies totaling 1.53 WTE with flexible working options for full-time or part-time hours.
This role offers hybrid working, with expectations to work in the office and travel as required.
Interviews are scheduled for the week commencing 19th May.
This position requires autonomous working within a highly interactive team. You will provide cross-cover and developmental support to other HR Advisors, building relationships within the People Directorate, and across the Trust with business leaders, stakeholders, and trade unions. You will deliver a comprehensive Employee Relations service, applying your senior HR knowledge to business challenges, aiming to minimize formal investigations and hearings, and promoting resolution and learning. You will also review and develop HR policies, procedures, and practices, supporting managers and systems to enable efficient working.
Candidates should ideally be CIPD qualified with substantial experience advising on Employee Relations in a unionized environment, and possess a good understanding of UK employment law. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. NHS experience is preferred.
This role involves working as a key senior team member to ensure a high-quality, timely Employee Relations service across the organization.
