We are seeking two Community Support Workers to join one of our community-based services in Brinnington, Stockport. Our service aims to provide extensive care, specialist positive behaviour support and promote independence and inclusion within the local community. We work to empower the individuals to take control of their own lives. The main focus is to provide the highest level of support to enable greater independence, choice and fulfilment for individuals.

Working Pattern32.5 hours per week. Hours range from - 9.00am through to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work is also required which is on a rota.

Salary – £21,406.67plus enhanced pay for weekend hours of+25%hourly rate.

Full time equivalent salary for working 37.5 hours is£24,700.00(Real Living Wage £21.67 per hour).

Location –Berwick Day Service, Brinnington, Stockport a Together Trust Service.

The people we support have a variety of complex needs which may include learning difficulties, Autism spectrum conditions, including behaviours perceived as challenging, mobility, communication, health and social care needs.

You will be working in a caring day service with the wider team under the leadership of the Team Leader, nurturing, and supporting the individuals providing them with all the care, love, and support that they would receive as if it was their family member.

We are looking for Community Support Workers who have the ability and resilience to work with behaviour, which may challenge, in a caring and consistent manner, including the maintenance of appropriate boundaries for behaviour.
