Description

Support Worker

Permanent, part-time (22.5 hpw), on a 2-week rolling rota.

Earn £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum) [pro rata] and enjoy great benefits including a Health Cash Plan.

As our Support Worker, you’ll support customers with complex mental health needs and learning disabilities to develop their skills to live more independently. You’ll make a significant difference daily by helping customers achieve their hopes and aspirations. Exciting, isn’t it?

Typical day as our Support Worker

  • Assisting customers with practical daily tasks to foster independence, helping them reach their support plan goals.
  • Supporting customers with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
  • Helping with activities like cooking, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancy, and moving to independent living if possible.
  • Conducting risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and reviews.
  • Engaging in conversations, building rapport, and working collaboratively with colleagues.

Job details

  • Flexible start and finish times to meet customer needs.
  • Working on a 2-week rolling rota, including every other weekend, with overnight stays on-site.
  • Using technology for updating support plans, online learning, and collaboration.
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required, which we will pay for.
