Our client is building a robust, future-proof electricity network to deliver 100% renewable energy across Wales. They are looking for a Power System Engineer to support network modelling, manage power system studies, and ensure regulatory compliance, particularly with NESO and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead network design from concept to delivery, including fault analysis and compliance updates.
2. Maintain the power system model and ensure alignment with grid code requirements.
3. Conduct steady-state and dynamic studies for customer connections and system planning.
4. Collaborate cross-functionally and engage with DNOs, TOs, NESO, and Ofgem.
5. Drive continuous improvement and report on modelling outcomes to senior leadership.

About You:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in power system modelling and regulatory environments.
• Familiarity with generator/network asset modelling and NESO engagement.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Hybrid/flexitime working with ‘no meeting’ Fridays.
• 28 days holiday + bank holidays.
