Job Description

Independent, specialist power engineering consultancy requires a Power Systems Engineer to work on a range of exciting projects, including renewable energy grid integration, at both transmission (132kV - 400kV) and distribution (11kV - 132kV) voltage levels.

Responsibilities:

1. Performing power systems studies, network modelling, load flow, short circuit, transient stability, harmonic studies.
2. Carry out protection coordination.
3. Offer technical expertise to overcome power systems challenges, proposing viable solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Power Systems Engineer is essential.
2. Experience using DigSilent software.
3. Knowledge of grid code compliance and G99 is a must.
