We’re looking for a seasoned Systems Engineering professional to lead a talented team working on cutting-edge electronic systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, technical environment and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges.

What You’ll Do:

1. Guide, mentor, and allocate work across a team of Systems Engineers, providing both strategic direction and hands-on support.
2. Own the development and delivery of engineering solutions across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and compliance standards.
3. Evolve and enhance systems engineering methods, tools, and capabilities to support current and future programmes.
4. Lead the design and implementation of system architectures, develop key systems documentation, and ensure successful project outcomes.
5. Work closely with hardware and software teams to deliver integrated solutions with modularity and reuse in mind.
6. Present at internal and external reviews, manage customer and supplier interactions, and support bids with accurate technical inputs and risk assessments.
7. Ensure all outputs meet internal quality standards and security requirements, and actively review and approve technical documentation.

What You Bring:

• Deep experience applying Systems Engineering practices in complex engineering environments.
• Strong background in requirements development, system design, integration, and verification.
• Track record of producing high-quality technical documentation and leading formal reviews.
• Previous experience in defence or other highly regulated sectors is advantageous.
• Degree in engineering, science, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
