About This Role
Provide the smooth operation of the centre, its facilities, activity programmes as well as administrative support to UWE Bristol Sport programs and the operations department at UWE Bristol Sport.
Deliver a professional and customer focused service to all students, staff and visitors making them feel welcomed and valued, ensuring that their first interaction at UWE Bristol Sport is a positive experience. This will also be achieved through the support of setting up, taking down equipment as well as the supervision and control of customers using the facilities.
Enforcement of Health & Safety regulations and normal operating procedures will also be required.
3 part time roles available to be based on The Centre Reception for the hours stated below. You should be available to work extra hours as and when required.
Hours are as below, however they are subject to negotiation.
Post 1
Monday 2.40 to 10.10pm all year 7hrs
Wednesday 3pm to 9pm Term Time only 6 hours
Sunday 2.20 to 8.20pm all year 6hrs
Post 2
Thursday 7am to 3pm all year 7.5hrs
Friday 3pm to 8pm Term time only 5hrs
Post 3
Friday 2.40 to 10.10pm all year 7hrs
Sunday 8:50 to 2:35 all year 5.75hrs
Monday 7am to 10am 3hrs all year
About You
Do you have enthusiasm and an understanding for sport and enjoy working in a customer faced environment, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people including university staff, students and members of the general public. Can you demonstrate initiative and an understanding of equal opportunities and an outgoing, enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude.

Interviews are scheduled to take place at our Frenchay Campus.

This is a full -time, permanent post working 35.5hrs hours per week.
