Job Description
General Summary:
The Revenue Senior Accountant II focuses on accounting for the company's product revenues, including gross-to-net liabilities and accounts receivable. In addition to month-end close responsibilities, this role collaborates closely with our finance distributor teams and third-party in-country distributors to ensure accuracy of accounts receivable and customer support items. The position also involves participating in projects such as automation and data analytics initiatives.
Position Summary:
This role supports the Revenue Accounting Manager, Distributor region, and Business Partners in preparing revenue accounting journal entries, aligning with forecast assumptions, group reporting, month-end close activities, data analysis, technical reviews (US GAAP), rebates/contractual claim reviews, financial controls including GL reconciliations, SOX, and compliance for the region. Building strong relationships with managers and international business partners is key to ensuring accurate reflection of market, reimbursement, forecast, and contract data in revenue accounting.
You are well-organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and problem-solving and can prioritize multiple deadlines and commitments, managing month and quarter-end close activities across multiple markets.
