Blue Yonder Title:

Sr Accountant II - Revenue Accounting

Other Comparable titles:

Sr Accountant, Sr Staff Accountant

Location: US-Remote or Dallas/Scottsdale Offices

What You'll Do:

• Lead a team of 3-5 direct reports, providing development and support
• Ensure accurate, timely, and complete revenue activity recording in compliance with US GAAP and company policies
• Manage month-end revenue close, including reviewing billing, revenue schedules, journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue allocations
• Prepare and review quarterly flux explanations for selected accounts
• Review and approve professional services agreements, ensuring correct contract setup
• Evaluate and improve current processes, providing analysis to support internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with revenue recognition and quote-to-cash teams to ensure policy compliance
• Build effective relationships with Sales, Finance, Tax, Legal, and Controllership teams
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
• Support external and internal audits as needed
• Escalate issues and meet deadlines

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA preferred
• Public accounting or assurance experience preferred
• ASC 606 experience preferred
• Strong team management and development skills
• Willingness to support multiple time zones
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Workday, Upland, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, forward-thinking, and problem-solving skills

The base salary range for this position is: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD
