Job Description
General Summary:
The Revenue Senior Accountant II concentrates on accounting for the Company’s product revenues including certain gross to net liabilities and accounts receivable. In addition to month end close responsibilities, the Revenue Senior Accountant II will work closely with our Finance distributor teams and third party in country distributors to ensure accuracy of accounts receivable and other customer support items. The role will also participate in project work including automation and data analytics initiatives.
Position Summary:
The role is responsible for supporting the Revenue Accounting Manager, Distributor region to Business Partner in relation to the preparation of all revenue accounting journal entries, alignment with latest forecast assumptions, group reporting, month-end close activities, data analysis, technical reviews (US GAAP), rebates/ contractual claim reviews, financial controls including general ledger reconciliations, SOX and compliance for the region.
Key to success is the supporting relationship with the Manager and international Business Partners to ensure that market, reimbursements, forecast and contract-relevant data is accurately reflected in the revenue accounting.
You are well organised, detailed, proactive, and problem-solving orientated and can prioritise several competing deadlines and commitments, enabling you to manage the month and quarter-end close activities for multiple markets in your region.
You are service driven with a high appreciation for the importance of business partnering and stakeholder management in a matrix organisation with the global revenue accounting function based in the group head office in Boston, US and the Regional Finance & International FP&A teams.

Education:
• Part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance. Big 4 experience is an advantage. Experience in an accounting environment or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
