Staff Accountant II

Responsibilities include:

1. Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley internal control process documentation and ensure key controls are performed without exception, including revenue testing, SSAE16 controls, quarterly signoffs, and other tasks.
2. Participate in monthly closing by reconciling inter-company activity, researching variances, and distributing reports. Maintain lease accounting database and update schedules.
3. Assist with international audit requirements and reconcile financial information.
4. Contribute to preparing monthly consolidated financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flows, along with analyses for management and the board.
5. Support external reporting by preparing information packages and footnote disclosures.
6. Prepare government surveys and complete filings after manager review.
7. Utilize financial systems like SAP and Hyperion for data retrieval and reporting.
8. Support internal and external audits.
9. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Four-year college degree in accounting.
• 1-3 years of routine accounting experience, applying knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures.
• Basic understanding of accounting standards, Sarbanes-Oxley, and PC software.
• Ability to perform routine work, use procedures to solve standard problems, and work under guidance.
• Effective communication with internal and external contacts on standard items.
